History is God’s story—His-Story. Without the knowledge of where we came from and how we got to where we are to-day, we have no context for our lives and therefore, cannot fully know our purpose for tomorrow. These resources can teach us how to avoid making the mistakes of the past and see more clearly how to navigate the future!
WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built – a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined. In accord with what was so accurately stated by George Washington, we believe that “the propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained.”
WallBuilders provides books, videos, textbooks, and radio/TV broadcasts that can equip your family to stand strong against the onslaught of radical ideas of today's culture.
We train leaders in three specific areas: Philosophy/Principles, Process, and Personal Skills
Our society is woefully lacking in civic education and even a basic understanding of the values that made America the most successful nation in history. We teach students to analyze legislation and issues through the lens of the liberty principles found in the Declaration and Constitution. Students uncover both Biblical and secular arguments to defend the Timeless Truths and values from the Declaration and American history. From “We hold these TRUTHS” to the current debates about life, marriage, world view, and respect for others, stu-dents learn how to win the day from their campus to the halls of the legislature.
For more than three decades the WHI has been researching and teaching the “cause and effect” paper-trail of person-al liberty and human rights; of private enterprise and constitutional government; and of charity and the explosion of faith around the world. The Institute embraces the providential view of history, which observes history as a purposeful saga under the direction of a loving Creator. This historical perspective has been the dominant view of Western Civili-zation from the time of Augustine in the 4th century A.D. to the 20th century. All of the resources, articles, confer-ences and tours of the World History Institute are created to help you in your quest to understand the world and its meaning.
